Delivery Manager North America -Global Projects

We are looking for someone who wishes to make a difference in our Global Delivery organization working as a Delivery Manager for Global Projects in North America. In this role you are owning the team’s project portfolio, developing individuals and building effective teams for the global projects in the region. You will utilize your experience of managing project portfolios and supporting customers to make meaningful impact in this role. 

 

Role Description

This is a player/coach role and is ideal for someone who loves working hands-on with clients while also being a people manager. In this role you will be responsible for running a successful Delivery team and leading by example. We will be looking to you to bring new ideas forward to innovate the team.  

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Operationally leading the Delivery team in all aspects
  • Driving the team towards success. You will be fully responsible for the team hitting their deadlines and deliverables
  • Being the point of escalation and resolving roadblocks timely and efficiently
  • Creating processes and procedures for the team
  • Leading large and/or complex projects for Global customers and markets
  • Guiding the customer to best practice solutions and proactively developing customer use of our services
  • Reporting project portfolio statuses, performances and needs to VP regions in accordance with the teams KPI’s
  • Being the day-to-day people manager for your direct reports with responsibilities such as individual competence development, coaching, performance reviews, and salary reviews
  • Recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new hires
  • Representing your team’s interest within the organization by navigating and distributing relevant information for the team.
  • Facilitating and leading Delivery team events
  • Working and aligning closely with the Sales team to plan and secure resource allocation for upcoming and ongoing projects

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with line management, leading delivery teams or program management.
  • Experience managing and reporting project portfolios
  • You have strong communication skills and can communicate to both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Understanding of customers general business processes and needs connected to O2C and P2P.
  • You have technical interest and experience from managing technical projects preferable with integration focus.
  • You have experience building efficient delivery teams and coaching and mentoring individuals
  • You are a customer-focused delivery team member
  • You are a cross-functional team player and can partner successfully with Sales representatives

  • Scope: Full-time
  • Location: preferably Chicago or Minneapolis
